       @realcaseyrollins no because it's either the owls or echidnas who are in the wrong. There ain't no way a single injured owl can take out an entire tribe of trained warrior echidnas, who are also known in the lore for being the protectors of the master emerald. Plus knuckles only acts how he's taught so it says something that he has been trying to protect the emerald the whole movie

       @Marbleturtle @Marbleturtle Buttttttt firstly #Knuckles tells #Sonic that hedgehogs are the sworn enemy of the echidnas in #SonicTheHedgehog2, so those tribes definitely were fighting. And secondly, was #Boneclaw really alone? I would assume there was a warrior tribe of owls as well.

       @realcaseyrollins she probably made it seem like she was the only one, but I don't think the hedgehogs vs echidnas were ever mentioned in any of the lore. In other media there was only Amy.
