@monsterislandcolonizer someone on reddit mentioned sending an intentionally corrupted PDF which is cleverif the company doesn't read them it won't hurtif the company just wants to use "sent a cover letter" as a "follows instructions" filter, well you sent oneif they really like you and want to read it and ask for it again, you can write one at that point I guess

@monsterislandcolonizer I've never written one but since I'm trying to change careers I probably will start writing them. Can't hurt and I usually don't apply to more than a couple jobs in one day anyway.
