       I have to disagree there because thanks to people like Matt Walsh it is plausible and the right needs to make sure that fuckers like him are drummed out of any spaces along with any other anti-gamer and anti-anime weirdos.        I think it's less complicated than that. They just know conservatives consider "woke" to be a pejorative, but many of them are starting to realize the boot on the White man's neck so they're trying to get people out of that mindset by equating self preservation with something the enemy does.
