@stux *reads the thread, thinks too much about each toot, leaves*Yeah i tried Proton's free VPN, worked great, then read some stuff about them being in cahoots with AI implementation.On payed VPN with dedicated IP to get rid of the "bad neighbour effect". Groovey: Wireguard software instead of their own which keeps nagging.

@stux @AndiFFM +1 for Mullvad. Proton VPN tries to win the argument via their affiliate program and get you to subscribe. With Mullvad, you pay the same price per month irrespective of how long your commitment is. And, you don't see people advertising their service on YouTube, for example, to get paid via some affiliate program. If somebody recommends Mullvad, they do it, because they believe in it. @stux @nf3xn I dont believe in any of them Afaik proton is the best commercially- but even they admitted to being subject to third party search n seizure.Seems there really isn't a commercial vpn that can't be infiltrated by three letter agencies.
