       @alchemy That is a very good point. India is never going to be a peer rival. China already is and Chinese spies making off with military technology is the biggest espionage threat the US feds face today. So ramping down high IQ Chinese guest workers and phasing in pajeets has a certain neocon traitor logic.

       @judgedread @alchemy You will find lots of Chinese names on the rolls in the defense industry, usually with secret or top secret clearances.  But I am sure they can all be trusted when the Chinese government threatens their offspring.

       @judgedread That just seems the self defeating logic they like. it opens a potential ally for a flyover insurgency. They are a big importer of midwestern crops.

       @alchemy @judgedread I wouldn't know without asking.  My general inclination is to guess that most Chinese in Taiwan who are technically oriented have a lot of opportunity right on Taiwan and don't have to fear their government much, so they'd have a lower inclination to go to America than those on the mainland.  However, I have a friend who worked in military intelligence as a language specialist, and he tells me that people of Chinese ancestry working in our most sensitive industries are a prime spy threat.The thing is, when you are talking occupations that require more than one semester of calculus, you are pretty much limited to Whites and (non-Indian) Asians -- and quite frankly a low percentage of them.  So if an industry is starving for such people ... well, naturalized Chinese is where you make up the difference when White boys are getting lobotomized in elementary school.
