And for those who do not want to use the Apple App Store, I also host an #AltStore repository: https://stux.me/ios-altstore-repository/"https://alt.stux.me/repo.json" And for those with #Aptoide access can also download at least 1 game there, soon the cat game will also be added (currently in review)

@stux Looks like you're using notarized apps, which apparently only work on the PAL version. Unfortunately this means it's not available for me. Not sure if this is something for you to fix or something for AltStore to fix.> The source "stux” contains notarized apps, which are not supported by this version of AltStore.

@stux @bedast @altstore yup! the process is a bit different though — instead of uploading your apps to App Store Connect for notarization, you’ll just export the .ipa file directly from Xcode and host *that* on your server, then point `downloadURL` to that in the source JSONOtherwise it’s exactly the same process as a PAL source (except you *don’t* include a `marketplaceID` for your app) https://faq.altstore.io/developers/make-a-source

"But how do you make money from it then?" you might askWell, I don't. In fact it costs money for all developers licenses big companies like Apple and Google keep chargingIf you do like my stuff and want to give something back, you can donate though ❤️ https://paypal.me/stuxOShttps://patreon.com/mstdn https://ko-fi.com/mstdnhttps://bunq.me/stuxhosthttps://stux.me/donate

@rileytestut @bedast @altstore Huh! that's rather easy :blobcatgiggle: In the export as API, it needs to be signed I suppose but what's the right one?

@stux @rileytestut @bedast @altstore you should export it as a developer signed app. It doesn’t matter that it’s signed to your account because AltStore/SideStore re-sign it to the users account

@stux @bedast @altstore doesn’t matter what signing certificate you use (because AltStore will resign it with the user’s personal developer certificate behind the scenes), so you can export with any valid provisioning profile + certificate combo 🙂
