       @TruckerChris yeah. Unfortunately. Despite SyrianGirl's recent pro-Putin stance, her earlier posts about Russia not sufficiently bolstering the Syrian military were spot on. Russia set up Syria for this fall. It even seems as though they weren't even providing Assad with accurate intelligence about Turkey

       @TruckerChris I would also say that Russia's betrayal of Syria throws the deaths (assassinations), in Azerbaijan,  of Iranian President Raisi and Iranian Foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian into a different light. Azerbaijan bends to whatever Russia wants. I think those deaths were assassinations performed with the aid of Russia. Azerbaijan has strong ties to Israel. The only way Iran would let down their guard and travel to Azerbaijan is if Russia vouched for them
