I have a problem that I think @foone might be able to explain. My laptop's keyboard's right hand keys are completely dead. Delete, Home, Pg Up, Pg Dn, End, and the right arrow, which are all the rightmost keys, are nonfunctioning.A few days ago, they were unstable, sometimes working and sometimes not.Does this mean some... internal wire (trace?) snapped?

@sgeo a trace, yeah. There's a keyboard matrix inside there, where all those keys share one key/column trace. If it breaks (or in some cases, just gets slightly corroded from liquid damage or whatever), that whole subset of the keyboard goes dead.

@sgeo could also just be that the flex cable is slipping out the socket. If you can disassemble it and check, you might be able to fix it that way. Either way, it should be fixable with a replacement keyboard, you should be able to find those on ebay or aliexpress
