I'm not gonna say Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, deserved to die. If you really think about it: no one deserves to die.However, if you turn a profit off of algorithmically denying people the necessary medical care they need to survive, then you've made a decision about who deserves to die many times. Tens of thousands of times. With an arbitrary criteria. UnitedHealthcare actually has the highest claim denial rate of any health insurance company in America. You've built one of the world's most profitable businesses off of that. There's just a sort of irony of someone doing to him what he's done to millions: deciding whether to live or die.

@ErikUden Having worked in American Healthcare billing for >35 yrs I’d say all those figures are low. Remember, health insurance is a money making enterprise. It makes profit on denied claims not paid ones. Not sure why people claiming to understand #Capitalism rarely understand this. This is the primary reason I’ve advocated single payer gov’t healthcare for decades.

@ErikUden I had the UHC Medicare Advantage Plan AARP for 2 years and never saw a doctor. Why? All the doctors listed on their site were either A) not taking new patients; B) had a waiting list that went on for 6 months; C) call the Dr's office to be told "That doctor died 2 years ago, we can't get UHC to take him off their site. One office booked my appointment 90 days out. I showed up at the appointed time and they'd never heard of me. That jackass got what he deserved!

@ErikUden Yes he absolutely did deserve to die. And I unapologetically celebrate his death. Thompson was a worthless socioeconomic parasite who lived off the labor of others but contributed nothing of value to society.I hope this is the start of people rising up to eliminate all these leeches. The US justice system has proven itself incapable of upholding rule of law when it comes to the rich, so it's only natural that people will take the law into their own hands.

@ErikUdenIf someone is causing the suffering of thousands of people for profit, inaction, ego, or stupidity, definetly they deserve to die. Because that will stop the suffering. And is a clear message to others to not do that again.
