Been seeing this video floating around & I was avoiding it because the title makes it seem mean-spirited. I won't judge anyone too much for being mean spirited at this moment, (please do go off, it's justified) it's just not something that ... helps me. HOWEVER, I was incorrect. It is NOT mean spirited. It's a pretty interesting video essay from a creator new to me. I have some things to say about this topic. I will not stop engaging with gender studies cultural analysis in fact I'm seeking it out more since the efforts to delete it have made me realize all of this fuzzy seeming social sciences stuff must be MUCH more effective than I thought since there are so many intent on its destruction.If you kick the gender studies & feminism people off of campus I will find them on the streets and give them money and talk about their ideas EVEN LOUDER.And I'm not even from that tribe. I'm a stem person.

@futurebird I specifically made defending the Humanities an explicit goal of Kevin Bacon and the Stern-Brocot Tree very early on in the writing process...because of events at Purdue, and because of my alma mater, the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities.

@futurebird I have asked myself this question many times tbh, and while the answers are not so shocking, what shocked me and somehow made sense was that Gilfoil is Newsome's ex. haha Also I think maybe too much credit attributed to the politicians, and not their team. Specially for all the TV appearances, you know there's got to be make-up/hair teams known for being good at "the republican look".

@futurebird In a patriarchal society, women obtain power and acceptance from the power source. Are women in Western cultures allowed to define femininity and its attributes? Women fighting each other over a construct they didn't create is a symptom of the patriarchal state.
