@SIC_Guy I haven't gotten to the point of the story where Arata has gotten Gatack yet so the story is a bit overly balanced in Tendou's side atm. I think it'll get better in a minute, though only time will tell there.Of the ones I haven't started yet though I only have Blade, Hibiki, and Kiva. I think Blade is the one I'm most interested to check out next since the other 2 card themed riders I have watched have really warmed me up to the gimmick.

@SIC_Guy It's really funny you say that because Den-O and Kiva are the Heisei shows that started the trend of V-Cinema crossover movies.I know absolutely nothing about Kiva though so I'll take your word for it.

@SIC_Guy Don't get me wrong, I'm more then willing to take your advice and run with it. Makes my path forward incredibly clear since the only decision on my next couple shows was whether I watch Hibiki or Kiva last before Decade.I'm also still watching Drive off and on on the side. I like it but sometimes it gets a little too ridiculous, it definitely feels like W in a lot of ways but I feel like W handled it's character's eccentricities better.

@SIC_Guy Don't have a particularly strong opinion, I've only dipped my toes past early Heisei in small bits with W and Drive in Neo Heisei and Gotchard and Geats in Reiwa.On that note I'm also beginning to notice how much Kabuto inspired Geats, Ukiyo Ace and Keiwa are characters that strongly mirror Tendou Souji and Arata. Even the Boost Buckle being comparable to the Kabuto Zecter in terms of messing with Keiwa like the later did with Arata.

@SIC_Guy @supersid333 It is literally Decade's fault we have toy spam now.Having a reason to re-sell all the last 9 years of toys during Decade made bandai and toei realize they prefer having dozens of toys to sell each year instead of just a dozen.Now every rider has to have 20 forms that all get used in the first third of the show with 50+ collectable belt inserts and the show doesn't get much chance to slow down and do it's thing until the first mid season upgrade form (and the main rider now gets 2-3 mid season upgrades before the final form instead of just one)And then one of the post series movies adds a final final form.They're lucky some of the writers are talented enough to be able to work around all this shit and give us a decent show 50% of the time.

@Grimlock0048 @SIC_Guy Actually yeah, Geats and Gotchard do have like 2 or 3 mid season upgrades before the final suit don't they. Though I guess Geats handles it a bit better since all but like 2 of them in series are universal forms that other characters play around with.

@SIC_Guy @Grimlock0048 It's a series with problems. I like it and if nothing else it is an incredibly upbeat and positive series which is a breathe of fresh air in current year, but I could poke holes in a lot of the things it did with ease.I wish it had focused more on the smaller scale stories of Chemys interacting with people, as they were some of the best parts of the show. Some of the twists were interesting and executed well enough, but then you have stuff like how the show handles Rinne's father or how a lot of interesting concepts are hinted at but never have anything concrete delivered with them.I also wish that the main character mixed in more Alchemy into his fighting. His sneak preview in the Geats movie had him really play into that angle and it was a real shame he didn't actually use anything like that until he got his final transformation in show.

@SIC_Guy @Grimlock0048 I guess, I'm guessing it was more of an intentional thing to specifically show off each of the form's specific gimmicks as opposed to the generic thing the MC would have some degree of access to, but it still marks a kinda weird separation between the Gotchard from the 4 Aces Geats movie and the Gotchard in show.That being said Toei was really whipping the costume department to make forms for this guy because dear lords does he fly through mid-season upgrades and then some. His future self shows up, is like the coolest guy to appear for like 3-4 episodes ever, gives the MC the instructions to make the igniter which gives his forms a power boost tied with a cool narrative moment. Then like 2 episodes later it's dropped and he makes another new form that basically knocks the old one off the map for a chunk of the show (this isn't even the final form).Also for 2 episodes it, without warning, becomes a anniversary series as Kamen Rider Legend (Decade fanboy decked out in golden bootleg Decade armor) arrives from his V-Cinema special to help Gotchard fight guys using villain rider transformations from other shows.
