       @stux @ahrienby exactly. they could have "fixed" piracy. but they (mega-corporations) managed to make piracy more attractive than ever. Some things (like german audiobooks) have become impossible to buy. In addition to all this, I hate the fact that streaming services managed to make music a throw-away-and-forget product for a large portion of the population. Who's still super excited when an album is released and listen to it for 3 weeks straight? Very few.

       @stux in conversation I realized recently that not everyone gets that ordering takeout or delivery from a place’s own website is almost always less costly for both the vendor and the buyer. Even better? A phone call. No service fees for the restaurant.
