I did a four-page short comic for Le Lombard (Belgian publisher), it was a contribution to a big book project in French, featuring 24 other comic artists; an "advent calendar" book for Christmas. And yes, you have to cut the page every day in December to reveal a new story. @oblomov It sounds doable, but these are probably the last days for it if it takes 4 or 5 days to ship 🙂 .Sorry for being a bit late with the info, I've known about the book since early November, but the two tablet reviews became so big on my plate that I sort of neglected everything else around it. Also, Christmas probably felt "not there yet" in my mind, but now I see it's in a month. 😅

@davidrevoy no problem. The page says it's not in stock anymore anyway, so the only way to find it seems to be to go physically at a bookseller that carries it 8-)

@oblomov Oh no. Good luck for finding it then 😔 I imagine "not in stock" at this period for a Christmas book is probably a sign that many liked the concept and bought it and the publisher couldn't anticipate printing such a big volume.

Bravo vraiment @davidrevoy pour ta persévérance à vouloir produire avec du libre et sous licence libre.Surtout que ce n’est vraiment pas simple dans l'édition.Est-ce que la licence est indiqué dans le livre ?

@marnic Merci! La license n'est pas dans le livre par contre; je n'étais pas là pour des retours à la mise en page...Au final, il y a un © REVOY et la même chose pour tous les autres auteur⋅ices. Mais j'ai bien tous les emails de notre accord, plus la facture qui le mentionne pour me protéger juridiquement. Au cas où. En tout cas, le directeur de cette collection et l'équipe étaient super sympa.

@Juankprada hey, yes i'll publish a blog post about it, as far as I remember the struggle was mainly with the text, another higher resolution than artwork, tiff , bitmap b&w.
