       So many fancy contact apps but not one of them has ever thought to include built in quizzes to help you memorize people’s names. This could be a feature of, say, apple contacts or facebook— really any app that has both photos & names. It could even be a voice quiz where you say the name and it checks if you said it correctly. (using the many online resources for name pronunciation) I think such things aren’t made because someone people like the social advantage they gain by not needing help.

       @futurebird there's an oldie comedian that does standup in English, I guess he is from the US. In one of his bit, he speaks to an audience and mimic the old dial phone whit the wheel and says something to this effect: «you know, back in my time we had to store numbers in a very unconventional place... our brain, uh uh»It's true, I remember numbers for landline phones that won't ring anymore. So cool. Like remembering and reciting poetry written by dead people.

       @futurebird When I was running around comic book conventions, I had a wooden troll from Norway, and I'd get comic book creators to have their photo taken with the troll.At one convention, one of the creators practically jumped out of his chair when he saw the troll.
