I would appreciate boosts for visibility.I'm looking into a drawing stylus that would work on android.I'm hoping to not pay the monetary equivalent of a kidney, but since an apple pencil costs 90 or something I'm sure than an android alternative would be far cheaper.

@raccoon@hollow.raccoon.quest AIUI, unless you've got some Samsung machine (and those come with their own stylus), you can use any "active stylus"; I have an older model of the MoKo Stylus Pen and it works fine.Keep in mind that your drawing program is not going to get any pressure or angle data: that requires special hardware on the phone/tablet (which I think only Samsung provides)

@dakkar@s.thenautilus.net Thank you muchly! It's a shame for the angle and pressure, but oh well... I wonder if the pixel has that... It's pretty new so maybe?@spots1000@woem.menHey Aurora, so far I got this helpful message, I hope it's helpful for you.

@raccoon I dont have recommendations for a stylus that works for any Android device, unfortunately. I do have a 2022 Samsung S6 Lite with a Staedtler Noris Digital stylus, which is a setup I recommend.

@raccoon did you say you have a pixel tablet? Penoval USI2.0 Stylus Pen for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMX315NG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_shareI can personally recommend this one. You won't find better until Google releases their own.

@raccoon What's your device manufacturer and model number? Not all Androids can use a proper drawing stylus with pressure sensitivity and accuracy. The screen has to have the right sensors for it.

@raccoon From a quick search, some or all pixel tablets are compatible with a USI 2.0 Stylus.Supposedly in Graphene OS, USI 2.0 is also supported:https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/5817-pen-support-for-pixel-tabletThere's many USI 2.0 styluses on the market as it's a standard, maybe you can try out one to see what happens?
