Just remember, the first Star Trek movie was lame. The second one - one of the best - was not a sequel to the first movie, but to an episode from the TV series. Failing bravely is a key ingredient to success.#FortuneCookies

I was thinking just this morning: what is your recommendation for first three parts to see? I only saw one movie when they traveled back in time to Earth, and that was like 20 years ago or earlier.

@8petros> I only saw one movie when they traveled back in time to EarthThat sounds like the fourth movie, The Voyage Home.> what is your recommendation for first three parts to see?I'd definitely recommend watching Wrath of Khan (2), Search for Spock (3) and then rewatch TVH (4), it'll make much more sense. But a couple of years ago I rewatched the original series from the 1960s, and it holds up better than I expected it too.
