       There's been quite a lot of criticism aimed at liberals and leftists, that we don't know how to speak to the average voter, and we come across as know-it-all elitists, and that's what turns voters away from progressive candidates/parties... but I wonder if people saying this realise how anti-intellectual that argument is?

       @drmambobob IMHO, as someone who actually works in a warehouse, it's propaganda. Sure - US left could do a lot of things better, the question here would be, is GOP not condescending and arrogant to the average working class voter? The answer is a resounding no.

He's taken a huge loan for some degree you never heard about and now he's making $300/month more than you and thinks he's something better. You gonna believe him when he says I should stop profitting from fossil fuels? Who's gonna hand out the paychecks? (I sure aint gonna tho, either way, hehe).'
