       @relentless_eduardo that's a good thing, if the government is not providing the necessary services for its people. I personally think it would take a great deal of downsizing before the government was truly crippled and not able to perform its constitutional requirements.

       @jsmith when mao tse tung took over china he had to keep the existing bureaucracy because they were the only ones who knew how to get things done. that's why the bureaucracy is called the backbone of the statethen when he thought he no longer needed the old guard he launched the Red Guards and the Cultural Revolution to clean them out
