I'm often disappointed in programs for having built in presets they don't let me go below.like, what if I want to resample this audio to 4000hz? I can't! it mins out at 8000hz!

@foone especially if it's an entirely arbitrary number like sample rate, I hate that so much.dropdown selections on something that could literally just be a number input field is the bane of my existence.....anyways, in terms of audio work, reaper pretty much never does that on anything. it does have dropdowns for standard values, but you can also put in literally any number you want.

@foone The original soundcards supported 8000Hz as their lowest sample rate, an the software was written with the hardware in mind.
