       Perhaps it's possible that even though the trans is a logical product of end-stage liberalism, in the future this same regime might take a very different stance because of some uncontrollable factors, like a severe energy crisis. The hyper-individualist consoomer anti-culture may turn more collectivist. So the same totalitarian dystopia we have now but no persons of trans allowed (they never develop because either euthanised or socialised into productive labor).
