One of the unfortunate consequences of getting into lolicon is that some people will break the bounds between fiction and reality. An insane amount of artists go a step too far and end up sexualizing actual children, primarily child actors or celebrities. This type of behavior should never be normalized, especially for a community that gets a bad rep as is.

@Essiecks_ Get a lot of people to make lolishonas of themselves, and have them all bang.

@Essiecks_ Absolutely. There can certainly be some ambiguity depending on a character's origin, say for example they're inspired by the creator or a real person, but anyone seeing an actual person, adult or child and drawing of them it very messed up. There is wiggle room as well with "personas" in the sense that they very rarely are accurate depictions of the person, yet still represent them. Take Jaiden for example. Doesn't look anything like her but drawing her persona like that can still-

@Essiecks_ -feel like actively harassing her in a sense. I don't think most people drawing that character think of that, they just like her design and personality, but it can come across as a lesser form of deep fake harassment if that makes sense. To put it on more grounded level, if children are drawing a classmate as something awful in order to bully them, we condemn that kind of behavior. The difference with this is often times it's not actively shown to her, rather enthusiasts (gooners)-

@Essiecks_ -in their own corners enjoying the art. Actively @ ing the person who's persona you've drawn porn of is very disrespectful, with caviats in terms of it clearly being a pornographic OC that's invited publicly to be drawn in such a way.I'm not innocent either with that, I've done a commission of Jaiden and drew a request of another persona years ago, but generally it's a position I keep to.Main point is the beginning that @Essiecks_ said, no REAL people, adults or children.

So, the reason why I'm saying this is because last night I saw someone post a sfw picture they drew of Lil' Tay with a caption saying "she was hot 7 years ago" She was 9. You're still making a very sexual comment towards a real life child.

@Essiecks_ I can imagine someone saying something like that as a very morbid and offensive joke, but specifically about a real person, a child, it has this element of intrusion on their well being. With the knowledge as well of all the awfulness children in the entertainment industry are subjected to, it is incredibly poor taste and uncomfortable.

@knullmannen @Essiecks_ I said this recently, but it feels even deeper in Jaiden’s case since a lot of people still draw NSFW of her avatar after she came out as asexual/aromantic and explained her expression in detail. For people who have acknowledged that and still do it, it transcends being disrespectful and goes into blatantly considering her identity invalid.

@TateDGibbs @Essiecks_ That's a good point. I don't see her persona as a 1:1 representation of her, but the idea is still that it is "her", so showcasing something that is outside of her identity is certainly offputting. At the same time, it's not like if she hadn't revealed that, that all the pornography was "canon" to her regardless. On a full on fictional example, I don't see anything wrong with Tracer from OW getting gangbanged by men despite being a canonical lesbian, as she isn't real.

@knullmannen @Essiecks_ Yeah. Though I prefer to respect canon sexualities since I do think how people treat fictional character identities is an extension of how they may treat real people, veering away from that is technically more forgivable/understanding; it’s their prerogative at that point, and as much of a bad taste that it can leave in my mouth, no real harm is being done.

@TateDGibbs @Essiecks_ Yeah it'd be more about throwing it in people's faces. Like I'm sure when Tracer's sexual orientation was confirmed and her girlfriend revealed that assholes were posting porn of her getting dicked in threads and discussions about it, which is just mean. Feel free to keep making porn of her with men, but you don't need to use it as a means of hammering down on people who are excited about a high profile character representation.
