       [ Solved ] So i had to convert the custom emoji on my #snac instance from a png to jpg.Last try for tonight.  :runbsd:

       How about now Paul ? :runbsd:Also if you look at the images URL location is it png or jpg as it might be cached or something on your instance. Hopefully it's jpg ?

       @justine The same. Probably cached on my instance. When I open the post directly, Moshidon directs Firefox to your instance where it's OK.With PNG there is often the alpha channel to consider too. If it's been cached testing will be a headache.

       Yeah I guessed it was the alpha channel that's why I changed it to jpg. I have noticed folk on other instances that still use the png version like #bsdcafe and theirs do not display correctly in dark mode.

       @justine @nowster I use png where possible over jpeg, don't like jpeg compression artifacts.
