Some people seem to interpret the analysis of the Latino vote as blaming Latinos for Trump’s victory. Of course, that’s not true. The majority of Latino votes went to Kamala Harris, while the majority of Trump voters is white and male. However, analysing this demographically important group is essential to understanding underlying voter trends. https://open.substack.com/pub/tertulia/p/understanding-the-latino-vote-in?r=dvgsy&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

@Phil Not sure what you fixed here, some people (not me) use the word „blaming“ consciously. Could you elaborate? re: wording: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-11-07/why-its-wrong-to-blame-trumps-victory-on-latino-men or https://www.feministgiant.com/p/essay-why-trump-won

@nachrichtenlos i changed "blaming" to "crediting" because using "blaming" when associated with such a positive outcome makes no sense. Its like saying I blame so and so for winning the war.

@Phil Okay, now I see and understand, thank you for clarifying. As you can see from my sources those who lost the election big way might have a different view on the wording.
