it's not about the language itself, mind you: Ada is a perfectly fine language, even if I don't know it.It's that the people who want you to know Ada are the people who thought it should be required for all new programming projects, like the department of defense

@foone Every job being suggested to me in Scotland is very open about being for major defense contractors to work on munitions or delivery systems for munitions.The fact is that, to some extent, the tech is very cool. “Dragonfire” absolutely bangs as a project name! Alas my red lines (AI, Bombs, Crypto) are the same as yours, which basically seems to leave HFT and e-commerce website mills. 😔

@foone @darkling I have a AtariST boot disk which is structured in such a way that it cannot be copied. It works fine if booted from on an Atari, but if not and you insert the disk, it is just garbled data.So if you boot from it, then you cannot read any other disk, just only that one. So you can't copy the data.Unfortunately a harddisk can be used. I would need to add some code to block that.
