Comparing the number of votes from yesterday's election it looks like basically the same number of people that voted for Trump in 2020 showed up and voted again, but far less people voted for Harris that voted for Biden in 2020. This tells me a lot of Democrats sat this election out. Talking with my parents and listening to my friend talk about his Boomer parents, it seems like Boomers believe only people their age are qualified to be president. @Tsutsuku @TomatoGrilledCheese I think asking a country that had never elected a woman and only one elected a person of colour to elect a woman who was also a person of colour wasn't the best idea.Add to that the sense that she was just there, rather than chosen as the best person for the job doesn't help.The Democrats did this to themselves when they selected Biden 5 years ago abs didn't have a plan for what happens next.
