@kaden1 For some background, if you are young, there is nothing wrong with being fully idealistic.I was and learned a lot.One thing I learned was that if idealism does not produce good results in reality, it's not idealism but a pose or posture.This caused me to walk away from a number of things. Generally I see metaphysical dualism (in religion and philosophy) as well as egalitarianism to be destructive forces.Culture, love, natural selection, hierarchy... these promote competence, and everyone is wealthier as a result.Sort of like how most people in America now live in homes with flush toilets, air conditioning, and internet. Capitalism seems like an evil but it does good if we give it just a few nudges here and there.

The less people there are the less goods would be bought and companies would have to raise their prices to keep their profit margins up. The answer is increasing taxes and taking better care of our citizens with universal healthcare.

We must have taxes to run the government but a progressive income tax is unfair. Flat tax for everyone and every business. 10% whether u make $1 or $1 million dollars, flat 10% tax for everyone. You hear people talking about the rich and big businesses "paying their fair share"? A flat tax is the embodiment of that.

@kaden1 Total tax burden in the USA is as high as in Europe, higher in areas with lots of illegals.The question is not whether women "should" have to work, but whether doubling the workforce is a good idea.Turns out salaries hit a brick wall in 1965.

No one who understands anything believes that a progressive income tax is fair. Flat tax is the only fair tax and we don't need to make it 30% like Canada. 10%. Individuals and businesses.
