@EUCommission Stakeholders? You mean a stake is finally going to be driven into the heart of the proprietary vampire, or is it about permitting a choice of masters, rather than there just being apple?Users being permitted to install software is a step forward, but that still won't give them the ability to properly configure the OS or install whatever OS they want on what should be their hardware.Too bad that would require forcing apple to hand over the keys to the handcuffs on the bootloader, which isn't going to happen (there is only security if the user can remove any keys the vendor set and set their own keys instead).

@stux @EUCommission tbh, I think the EU takes too less action against Google, with every search they try to push chrome, YouTube tries push chrome, and they changed chrome in such a way that you can't use adblockers anymore. (Manifest V3)

@eyebee @EUCommission Yup!Apple tried killing PWA's but the EU make it keep them i believe 💪 It was such an hell in the beta versions with it removed since i use the Masto web app the most At the time it just opened Safari with a new tab
