Tomorrow I have my psychological and stress examination which I need to pass in order to be allowed to drive high speed trains in Germany.Let's hope no psychologically demanding or stress inducing globally relevant event occurs tomorrow. Would be a shame.Seriously though, if I fail I'm gonna blame those who don't know how to vote right

@nickb333 the first high speed train (ICE) in Germany on the first of May 1988 reached 406.9km/h (the ICE-V). I will become an ICE/IC/EC train driver which regularly reach speeds of ~600km/h.

@ErikUden @nickb333 I do not want to stress you, but the ICE-4 I often ride on is limited to 250km/h and the other types might make 300km/h / on dedicated routes only. But none of the routine ones has a route requiring or permitting 600km/h. Better check your reference books.

@ErikUden thats the ideal test situation in THAT case. If you can take the stressful situation on such a bad day, you know that on most hard days, you'll still stay calm and relaxed. Don't look for excuses why you could fail the test before you took the test. Look for reasons why you should pass.

@ErikUden @kraweel65 You don't want drive that fast on rails worn down by heavy cargo trains. Your world will be shaking and your vision blurring! France or Japan have their HSTs on dedicated rails without level crossings or slow traffic.
