       I'm trying the old VN trick where you rename files around, right? There's a leftover debug model viewer in this engine, supposedly. But here's the problem: The filename for level 1 is 2 bytes too short to let me overwrite it with the filename for the model viewer.so I gotta get to "day 2" in the Cory in the House DS game.

       @foone I assume these files are compressed in a package? could you just null out the last two characters in the filename with a hex editor in whatever it's using to lookup then use the shortened name in-engine to open the path?

       I probably need to load it in a different context. probably having it be the first level loaded when you start the game is leaving me in a stuck state because it expects dialogue to play
