I'm fond of digest size TTRPGs. They tuck into a smaller backpack than big hard bound tomes, and I don't like columns, so I think they're easier to read.#TTRPG

@Lane The 6x9 form factor is legitimately superior on every measure, especially with good layout which does not stint on the white space. Not only is it far more readable than the two-column, 8.5x11 traditional format, but it's far more reasonable to publish in terms of cost. You can literally get away with commissioning less art, and the layout is simple. And if you are particularly clever, you can have it coil bound so that it lays open nicely on the table or even can fold back. Nicer all around.#TTRPG #design #layout
