This is a little bit of info that I don't want to share because I'm superstitious and traumatized by 2016. I worry that if I don't stay in a state of worry over the election it will go wrong because I blame my lack of worry in that year for the outcome even thought this isn't rational. But, I have a lot of friends in the polling and data biz here in NYC and they are feeling like Harris will likely win. They didn't think this about Hillary.

I don't think there is any reason to make yourself sick with worry. It will not help anything. Get a good nights sleep. Keep reminding your friends to vote or doing whatever your can. But let the ulcer causing anxiety go. This is not a promise. This is not magic. But there is nothing wrong with having a little faith in this country not being totally lost in a tornado of nonsense. And if I'm wrong here I will apologize and we'll work on what we need to do next.

@futurebird For what it’s worth, we were all pretty sure that Obama would win in 2008 and 2012, and that didn’t jinx him.To me, this feels very much like 2008.
