Right, that's it. Google are shoving fake AI generated bullshit in so many of my search results now that I'm changing search engines for the first time in about 20 years.

@piepants @pucetrailblazer I use either Duckduckgo or start page. Haven't used Google for years, but occasionally I try it and it's utterly terrible.

@Haikyoneko @piepants @pucetrailblazer Isn’t DuckDuckGo just Bing, which also uses AI? I hadn’t heard of Start Page; will look into that. I currently use Kagi on my phone, but my laptop is too old for it.

@superball @piepants @pucetrailblazer but it just gives the search results without the AI summary. Startpage is a mix of various search engines I think. Again without the AI bits or the tracking etc.
