CYRILLICHow come my You Tube links always display in Cyrillic? I understand the .be domain, because @stux, the server owner, is in the Netherlands or Belgium. I'm in the US.

@VedaDalsette @stux "youtu.be" is just a shorter URL than youtube.com, like bitly or tinyurl that Google uses for YouTube. https://youtu.be/[video]vs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[video].be is the ccTLD for Belgium(country code top level domain)

@funguy2playwith @stux Yeah, but look at the Cyrillic in the link. After I posted this, my posts with You Tube links automatically changed from Cyrillic to Latin.

@VedaDalsette @funguy2playwith This is an issue with YT unfort :sad_cat: The masto team is working on a workaround i believe but it's the "cookies" disc if im correct what keeps the thumb
