@tomiahonen I literally said I respect your choice? And that my respect for these two women is tempered by some disappointment. I don't think there is anything wrong with admiring either of them. In these last weeks before an election I have become... worn down by all of what can *feel* like uncritical partisanship. And I want the many people who feel the same to avoid the danger of alienation from the whole process. Can you see how that might happen? (probably not if I'm blocked LOL)

@griotspeak Is see that now. I always get excited that someone who disagrees with me might have something to teach me. Often it's not that complex or interesting but hope springs eternal, you know?

@futurebird I think that there's a lot of "yes, but Kamala ..." on the internet that feels like voter discouragement at this point in the election cycle. Tumblr is full of "don't bother voting" content (Harris is a cop, local action matters more, etc, etc) and cynically it feels intentional. This close to the election I understand the impulse to say "now is not the time to criticize."
