       @aral The media has always been like that.It should have been obvious from the media's history of referring to attackers or crackers as hackers, the Fediverse as Mastodon or GNU or GNU/Linux as "Linux".

       @aral I simply don't know you well enough to assess whether your position of 2+2=4 is valid.I've had dinner with somebody opposing this claim, and while you and them would set different paths for math, I am optimistic that either 4 or 5 would be a positive step. I'm endorsing both.

       @aral There are rallies all over the country in support of 2+2=5, and in Congress bills are introduced to make 2+2=5 government policy.  The governors of many states forbid the discussion of 2+2=4 in classrooms and remove books from libraries with 2+2=4.  The Supreme Court has mandated that determining 2+2 is a matter of states rights. Conspiracy theories about the 2+2=4 crowd brainwashing children abound and school shootings occur with manifestos denouncing the secret child conversions.

       @aral People are saying 2 + 2 = 3. All the best people are saying it...  They are saying "Sir", big burly men with tears in their eyes, they are saying "Sir, 2 + 2 = 3". Ya know, 3 is the number of blades that a windmill has, windmills are causing cancer and killing birds, like our great bald eagle, and holw many wings do eagles have? They have two wings and a tail, so 2 + 2 = 3
