       Froggie.gay notice of shutdownThe instance will close in a month from today. Please make sure you migrate your account (I can help with that if needed). --------I have decided to close froggie.gay. I still have mixed feelings about this but I really feel I need to take a break from being an admin and fedi in general.Running an instance means that you are super involved with a lot of the fedi meta, which can be exhausting. On top of that, it's a task that requires time and dedication (moderating, updating, doing the required maintenance, etc.)That being said, it was a great run for me. It taught me a lot and I've met so many cool people because of it. I hope that in these almost 2 years (first with froggie.town and then with froggie.gay) I was able to give a safe digital home to some of the beautiful people on the fedi.A big thank you goes to my partner in crime and mod @mira@ak.kumis.industries - thank you so much for everything you've done; you're simply the best ♥️I don't exclude potentially doing this again in the future, but as I said, I think I really need a break for now.It was a good run, love you all and see you somewhere in the digital space ​:froggie:​
