@Tfmonkey Pardon my inquiry, I'm sure you might have researched this; I understand a "mega dose" of potassium does abate rheumatoid arthritis. Also, in addition to your hot showers try an Epsom Salt soak/bath, in the same hot water. I found this worked weekly when I used to do endurance and heavy weight training.Hope.this helps.

@Tfmonkey @sardonicsmile I think you in particular could survive 150 grams of potassium in one go. 6000mg is like 2 times the maximum recommended daily intake in reduced kidney function patients, but I do wonder if sardonicsmile is suggesting one time dose or long term use. It's certainly not recommended as it puts strain on your kidneys and risks hyperkalemia if it's a constant megadose. Most of the studies I can find suggest that potassium does indeed help IF you have hypokalemia.

@Tfmonkey Norway was also the country to try a tax experiment to encourage people to voluntarily pay more taxes if they felt they were paying too little.
