I should get a new hard drive for my main #Windows10 desktop with twice the storage, find a way to convert the old drive into a #VirtualBox environment, and main #Linux for everything I don't need #Windows for. Especially now that #Microsoft is ending security updates for #Windows10.

Ironically, #Microsoft ending #Windows10 support might be the thing to get me to switch to #Linux on my main machines lol

@realcaseyrollins About 6 months ago I switched from W11 w/ WSL to fulltime Ubuntu. I barely boot into for Linux now. For gaming I’ll use my xbox or switch. I think unless you absolutely have to run Windows software, most people can survive on an OS like Ubuntu. Power users especially.

@brian I do stuff in #OBS which I'm afraid might get wonky, and I know I'll need #Windows10 to strip #DRM from #iTunes purchases, and I think the games I like probably won't run well on #Linux, but everything else (which is most of what I use my computer for) should work in #Linux, you're right about that.

@brian That's great to hear! I have no idea how compatibility across OSes work but I do use #USB everything so that should help
