@Dan_Ramos I've come back to the fox... Stopped using it when chrome came out... I know it's not necessarily the best either but that's ok right now.

eventually it wont matter. Brave is based on chrome... Google will eventually disable ad blocking in the chrome engine which will affect ALL chrome based browsers...

@Sirtruckdriver Brave is based on Chromium, not Chrome. Chrome is made in Chromium too. Chromium is open source so it doesn't matter what Google does to Chrome, Chromium and any forks based off the current licenses won't let them have that much control.

@Sirtruckdriver @Dan_Ramos Google doesn't own Chromium, the open source project upon which all Chrome browsers are based. I doubt that Dissenter, Brave and other Chromium forks will do the same. And if you don't want any of that shit, you can always use Firefox or any of its Gecko forks (PaleMoon, etc.).I'm really fond of Impervious, which does way more than just render websites in a tab.https://impervious.ai

@SirDudeNamedBenOnymous @Sirtruckdriver You seem to be conflicting with your own statements. Correct, Google doesn't own Chromium. No, I doubt Brave will do what Google is doing... Especially considering they base their entire character on their Chromium being based openly on maintaining privacy and maintaining ad blockers. Something else maybe .. but not that, no.

@chepycou ...Until they too do the same thing, since they've already said they're planning on it (and, of course, getting paid by Google helps).

@Metalglasses That's what Brave is forked off of, yes.
