       @sfwrtr @wkfry yes, people should simply accept the choices they are given and stop complaining. Just the right message for a democracy. Sadly, this isn't about the color of a raft, this is about human rights, the exploitation of the work force and basically how we as a society live together. If the democratic party fails to adapt their policies to win people over, then don't be surprised if it becomes harder and harder to win against Republicans.If they wanted to win, they'd adopt universal healthcare as a policy (incredible bipartisan support) or they would've backed the best rated candidate against Trump (in 2016 this was Bernie Sanders). The democratic party doesn't want to win, they'd rather lose instead of disappointing their corporate sponsors.

There is a binary choice and you don't like either for good reasons. I did not say stop complaining. Read what I wrote again. You can complain on the lifeboat, you can complain when on shore, and you can complain so the boat you take next time isn't broken so it doesn't sink on you. You can't change past decisions, but you can help make the future ones if you ensure there is a future if you get on the lifeboat. If you drown, you dead. This is a drowning situation. The past of politics shows it can change over decades. It can change locally within years, and that's where we can make more instant gratification choices and activism pays off well. But if you cease to have a democracy, because one choice in this #election clearly wants that, trying to change things becomes dangerous to you and your loved ones. It is the lifeboat that you need to get on to. Drowning isn't fun.
