But I also spent considerable amounts of time in Schaumburg, Evanston, Champaign/Urbana, Rantoul, Charleston, Springfield, and Peoria. And less time in Naperville/Aurora. If none of those are the good part of the state, I'm afraid I missed it somehow.

I think the bad parts of those places would be true of almost every urban area, minus some perks that other places have (cornfields aren't that exciting)sure there's not that much to do in the rural areas, but at least they are mostly white, high trust areas

I assume the traffic around campus is still ass. Lots of niggers who roam around and cause problems though. Used to be anyway. Urbana is entirely shitty part, Champaign is better but still very mid away from campus.A lot of the outside towns are VERY small and white, which is nice. I lived in Mahomet for a bit and it was quiet but fine, I think it's nicer now. But you can kinda get that in large portions of the country without the midwest Muggy 100F Summer/Snowy -11F Winter combo and terrible Illinois government.Fun Story I'm Probably Misremembering: They had to put up traffic signals because students kept walking out in front of buses and getting hit. America's Best and Brightest.
