       As a user of fosstodon, I don't understand why it's apparently banned from multiple instances here in #mastodonI joined fairly recently and I'm from a FOSS background. I think I'm missing some context here and don't know where to look to understand the bigger picture.Could someone provide me the context as to why this happened? I often hear it is blocked because of "Tech Bros" but I haven't met crypto and AI dudes yet. Does it mean something else?

       @diegovsky Honestly, it kinda just sucks becase mastodon is awesome but politics ruined it for everyone.Reallt the best way to get around federation issues is to stick to a small server or host one yourself. But the random blocks aren't nearly as prevalent as they used to be.
