@stux This is a critical point. When Elon Musk, J.D. Vance, and others talk about free speech and rail against leftist censorship, this is what they mean.To them, free speech is their right to weaponize speech against, and limit the speech of, whole classes of people they don't like.

@stux As a digression, "public squares"' usually have rules that are biased toward bourgeois.You can't drink or eat (because that's money from the restaurants; bourgeois have living rooms to where invite people)You can't sell your items from carts (competition for stores; possibility of reselling items stolen by servants)You can't shout opinions or hold discourse groups (rich people have newspapers, schools, and can read)In that sense Musk's definition is honest, if not popular.
