Just ordered a monster of an electric bicycle, but if my experience with cars is any guide I need a powerful motor and some serious cargo capacity...especially since I live on top of a 250-foot hill. @skotchygut I'm getting this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D4QSHQVT/But I just ordered it this morning and Amazon will ship it to me in two days, so do hold off on getting it yourself until I've had the chance to see how it does! It has few ratings (albeit mostly good ones) and seems to be an affordable off-brand sort of vehicle. So if there's some kind of quality issue with it I wouldn't be surprised; I'm hoping it'll be perfect for my needs, though, so stay tuned!

@skotchygut Update: I got it, and parts are missing and even the parts that are on there don't assemble correctly...or maybe I don't know how to put them together. Anyway, it was my big day getting platinum blonded and trying to start putting it together ruined my whole day. 😢 0/10, would not recommend.

Update: it is a monster, but not in a good way. Parts were missing and I suspect the parts I did manage to assemble don't work correctly. Came from Amazon Prime so I'll be able to get a refund, but it ruined what should have been the best day ever. 😢 I'll never forgive it! 😔

@adamasnemesis oh that's too bad! I wish the governments gave as much subsidy to electric bikes as they do to electric cars. Looking at anything else next?

@skotchygut No. I might look at a bike shop I can walk to and ride out with one fully ready to go, but that would be about it. I'm honestly not even sure I want to see an e-bike anymore... ðŸ˜

@skotchygut Ugh, I know. I'm looking over my options to go to a shop, look over what they've got, and then ship and assemble it for me. Leading candidate is an impressive-seeming place in El Segundo; because *of course* they'd have one (airport towns are weird, but they're weird in a way I can handle; probably helps a lot that I grew up in Dulles).
