       In general I'm going to try to get back into the habit of rigorous daily reading and note taking. I realized the other day that I haven't picked up a book since I finished The Forgotten Soldier, it's a bit terrifying to consider all of the reading I haven't done over the past couple of years. I think in general I fixate too much on one pursuit, everything into activity A and then nothing left for B, C etc. Pretty maladaptive.Anyway, after this and a couple other books I'm planning to commit most of next year to reading about Chalcolithic Europe, very interested in any recommendations in that or adjacent subjects.
