@TrevorGoodchild Not me personally, but you are not the first person who has mentioned this this week.Akshuly, I might be having them as well, but my Clear Screen Refresh Page parameters are updated every morning. I only remember my dreams when I nap (or I'm drunk), and I dislike both of those posited scenario: naps leave me so disoriented that I'd rather be tired, and being drunk stopped being fun ... I hadn't thought about it like this, but the day I became a father. Haven enjoyed drunkenness since then.

@TrevorGoodchild A couple months ago I had very vivid dreams of me driving, then applying the brakes to get off the interstate, but nothing happened, the car wouldn't slow down.The dream would suddenly end right before I'd presumably crash.That dream repeated every night for 3 weeks until my brake lines actually went out. Idk if it was God or my subconcious detecting the brakes decaying.Vivid but I wouldn't call it an entertaining experience.

@Aly @TrevorGoodchild @ForbiddenDreamer A number of things feel differently lately. Sometimes I get suggestions, other times they are exactly what happens months or years in the future. A couple months ago I had a dream that I was in a band of mercenaries and I cut my hand on some metal and had a slice through the palm. I was then being cautious because I didn’t want that to happen in real life. This weekend I picked up Wartales - which is a game about a band of mercenaries (which is great because all the characters are by design expendable lol). Was I subtly influenced by my dream? Not sure. When I was playing last night one of my characters got injured and the depiction is a slice through the palm. Someone likes pulling pranks on me.

@TrevorGoodchild I think my busy dreams have increased somewhat lately. The increase of daily emotional/political noise seems to be increasing in a non-linear way lately. Maybe the brain bandwidth gets overwhelmed during the day and a person has to burn those calories via dreams. I wonder if anyone has ever interviewed soldiers on their dream patterns in the days prior to their "going ashore" moments.

@TrevorGoodchild Just body horror nightmares. Probably fallout from the study I've done on physiology and whatnot, combined with the horrors I've seen even before there was a webternet full of nightmare fuel. Late at night, I usually just have ice water and a multivitamin, to prevent acid reflux from waking me up. With the weather cooling down, I've often been leaving the window over my bed slightly open, which seems to help me get longer sessions of sleep without waking due to discomfort or overheating.

@TrevorGoodchild A teaspoon or two of raw honey will make you dream your balls off. I also stopped smoking weed in early August, that brought back dreaming in a big way. Don't remember any dreams from past 5 years, since i was a daily smoker. Now they happen maybe once a week. Sometimes there seems to be a message for me in the dreams, like showing me how I'm getting in my own way in certain situations. Cool story, first dream i had after quitting pot, I got to see my Dad who passed away in 2010. Just for a moment though, he showed me the exit to a trap i was caught in. The surprise and joy of seeing his face made me cry out, which woke me up. Dreams are definitely an interesting topic.
