Thankfully many were able to dodge it but when they do something like it again, whether it's in 5 or in 10 years, there will be even more compulsory participation, more tracking, etc. I'm also anticipating the functional end of the Internet and what that will mean, i.e. AI is used to monitor all speech online and dynamically build profiles on people to help law enforcement track "extremists", etc. I'm sure all our poasts are already in numerous databases.

A bunch of rural whites get fucked by a natural disaster (weather modification theories aside, I'm not read up on that but I'm not against the possibility) and the government does nothing to help them, blocks aid, and the media chooses to avoid coverage while crying over Israel getting a stubbed toe. Plenty of countries do this, like during the earthquake in Turkey, you bet the Turkish government used it as an opportunity to fuck over disfavored ethnic groups in the southeast who had been a huge security problem. A lot of people dismiss scenarios like WW3, space aliens, whatever. I don't. I think odds are, we will have WW3. But WW3 might only kick in 10 years from now. What I do know is that in the next 10 years, odds are very good that something is going to happen locally or regionally that's worth prepping for. The "real" disaster is the East Palestine situations.
