@ChrisWere Occasional external harddrive backup and I use Mega.nz. Didn't do the best job though, because my laptop just went kaput and my files on Mega are not quite up to date. So room for improvement in my system!

@ChrisWere I mainly use Pika Backup with BorgBase, but I also have external hard drives that I sometimes use with Pika Backup but otherwise they just have some files I manage manually.

@ChrisWere a large usb drive connected to a raspberry pi, and Borg backup.I'm so disorganised that I can just dump stuff knowing that it's de-duped for me, and I can grep filenames easily.

@ChrisWere All my actual "useful" data get synced between my server and all my PC.My critical data is also synced to my phone. My server is effectively my "homebase" and my device are close to thin clients. The server data get copied to an offline drive. And last week I setup an autoupload of the critical data to a cloud storage in encrypted form

@ChrisWere I use Pika Backup (which uses BorgBackup) to backup my laptop files to a Hetzner Storage Box.I'm also using Ente on my phone for my photos. There's probably lots I could do to improve how I back stuff up.https://apps.gnome.org/PikaBackup/https://ente.io/

@ChrisWereI backup my phone, with rsync in a loop on my home and work PC tower using the ssh server of termux through this method of portforwarding: adb forwardI backup my children's PC with rsync -avz --delete --backup-dir=.TrAsHI backup my PC towers with a xclip in a loop to backup anything selected, my root sessions with /usr/bin/script (sic), and a third method which marks files to be backuped during network cuts at the cost of adding 100ms-ish latency to *all* file accesses: glusterfs
