There are only five types of days:Saturdays, SundaysTuesdays, ThursdaysMondaysWednesdaysFridaysIt's tempting to lump Mondays in with Wednesdays, but I think Mondays are too unique. It would make more sense to group them with Fridays... but that is radical.

@futurebird I like your grouping here. I feel same about days of a week.In particular Fridays are bad for our family. You only have up to noon to complete any calls to doctors and clinics because doctors don’t work Fridays at all or leave at noon. So if your business in not finished by noon, you are sitting there stuck until Monday. Bleah.

@futurebird I would think Fridays are more like anti-Mondays. If you put them together, there'd be explosions.

@futurebird Saturdays are way different than Sundays. On Sundays you can already feel the looming threat of Monday, giving it an overall much more melancholic vibe. Personally, I also wouldn't lump in Thursday with Tuesday because it is basically my Friday, but that's a special case.

@futurebird I concede your point, but still raise the conjecture:Monday, Monday Monday, Monday.FridaySaturday, Sunday.

@futurebird I gave up on Mondays for a few years when kid was a baby. I started my work week on Tuesday instead and tbh, the surprising thing was that it didn't really set me behind - Tuesday morning seemed enough to catch up. Various 4 day work week experiments seem to back that up.Conclusion: we should just stop doing Mondays entirely. The 3 day weekend doesn't really turn Tuesday into the new Monday because you're better rested and you only have 4 days to the next weekend.

@futurebird When I worked Mon--Fri, I always found Sundays way more oppressive than Saturdays. I could feel the minutes of freedom slipping away and was generally too stressed by that to enjoy them.
