@dequbed @OctaviaConAmore @lukito Omiya is the name of the place. It's in Saitama, north of Tokyo.It literally translates to "imperial palace", although it's nowhere near the imperial palace 🤷

@Lironah @Haikyoneko No idea. The biggest kanji dictionary I have is massive and it's still only got about 4500 in it. Based on the size of the thing, an unabridged version would probably be encyclopedia-sized. I think the joke would probably not work unless they were real, but I have never seen at least half of those and most of the other half I am not certain that I have actually seen or just confused for others. 犬 is in there, though.
